Superstar Cricket | southland-cricket

Superstar Cricket is an entry level game, best suited to boys and girls from 5-12 years old and is designed to help participants learn the basics of cricket in an enjoyable, safe and exciting environment.

It’s an inclusive, made-for-age game and it's benefits extend far beyond the game of cricket. At it's core Superstar Cricket provides children with opportunities to experience the value of team-work and active co-operation in a supportive and non-competitive framework. It creates an action-packed, fun atmosphere in which each participant feels fully involved. Formally known as KIWI8's, this modified version of cricket has been growing in popularity year by year and is set to be bigger and better than ever in 2017!

There will be competitions held in Invercargill, Gore, Te Anau, Winton and Lumsden this season. Please register your school team by filling out the form below. Superstar Cricket starts in Term 4 after Labour Weekend and the cost is $20 per player for the 6 weeks. All equipment is provided by Southland Cricket.
